Alana Billings

Hi, I’m Alana Billings, born and raised in Grant County. I graduated from Madison-Grant High School in 2017 and decided to stay close to the community as I continued my education. I earned my Bachelor of Science from IU Kokomo in 2020, and after working in banking and financial services, I completed my MBA there in 2023.

As summer approaches, longer days and warmer temperatures mean more time outside, more trips, and more activities, but it also means weather can turn quickly. Heat, severe storms, lightning, strong winds, and flooding can threaten families, homes, vehicles, and businesses. I’ve seen firsthand how important preparation is ahead of time, and my background in finance helps me guide customers in protecting what matters most when surprises happen.

Family means everything to me. My husband, Austin, and I have been together since high school, and we’re raising our daughter, Myla, who is almost 2. Since Austin owns a local business, we understand both the rewards and the realities of building something meaningful right here in our community.

Opening this agency is my way of giving back and supporting the people I serve. I’m here to help protect your family, home, and business, not just today, but through every season, including hot summer days, summer storms, and extreme weather.

Summer and Storm Safety Reminder

• Create an emergency plan and make sure everyone knows what to do if severe weather strikes.

• Keep an eye on the forecast and alerts for lightning, high winds, and storms.

• Bring in or secure outdoor items, such as lawn furniture, tools, and grills, before storms move in.

• Review your insurance coverage to make sure you’re prepared for wind, hail, or flooding damage, if applicable.

• During extreme heat, limit prolonged time outdoors, drink plenty of water, and check on anyone who may be more vulnerable.
